Rev. Jacob Henson serves as Pastor of Apologia Evangelical Lutheran Church. Before his call to the congregation in 2025, he served them for two years in a missionary capacity on behalf of St. Henry Evangelical Lutheran Mission. Pastor Henson is a graduate of St. Ignatius Lutheran Theological Seminary (ELDoNA) in Malone, TX, where he earned his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts. Before attending seminary, he lived and worked in St. Louis, MO, as a software engineer for The Boeing Company.

Pastor Henson loves Lutheran theology, the liturgy, music, and physical activity. When not reading or studying, he is frequently found outside running, hiking, cycling, or playing organized sports. He is recently married to Heidi Henson.
